Interdistrict Downtown School

Minneapolis, MN

IDDS was designed and developed jointly by the West Metro Education Program, a consortium of eleven urban and suburban school districts in the Twin Cities metro area. Member districts share a mutual commitment to promoting a racially integrated metropolitan area, equal educational opportunities for all children, and enhancement of opportunities through interdistrict educational options in integrated settings. The opening of this facility established an integrated, interdistrict magnet school for 600 students in grades K-12 located in the downtown Minneapolis.
