Leveraging the location

Classes are held among the nine acres of Henry Ford Museum exhibits and more than 80 historical structures that comprise Greenfield Village. Resources in the museum and village help students better understand how innovations have shaped the world around them and how they, too, can effect positive change through the implementation of new ideas.

The Academy uses the resources of industry, higher education and local community organizations to enrich and enhance the educational experience. As a result, students learn in unique places ranging from Thomas Edison's laboratory to the high-tech facilities of the Ford Motor Company.
