Truman Education Complex
Federal Way, WA
The Truman Education Complex was recently built to house
two
schools, grades 9 - 12, each consisting of 100 students. Each school serves
six advisories with one teacher (advisor) responsible for seventeen students
for four years. Learning spaces include individual workstations, project
labs,
seminar centers, conference rooms and large spaces. While the public school
system did not build any fields, gyms or art venues on site, creative use
of community resources and the development of partnerships will enable Truman
to offer a variety of artistic, athletic and academic opportunities for its
students.
